Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 Review

This year, Samsung made a big splash by integrating Galaxy AI with Google AI and Google Gemini on the Galaxy Z Fold6. The phone is also thinner, brighter, and has a higher-resolution foldable display.

The new Galaxy Z Fold6 is now available in Kenya at authorized Samsung stores and e-commerce partners.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 starts at Ksh 264,000.

Galaxy Z Fold6 Specs

The Galaxy Z Fold6 is the perfect phone for multitasking.

When unfolded, you’ll see a 7.6-inch touchscreen display that’s fully compatible with the included S Pen stylus. The outer screen is 6.3 inches with a resolution of 2376 x 968 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The biggest upgrade over last year’s Z Fold5 is the addition of Google AI.

The phone is equipped with a 4,400mAh battery and is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for Galaxy, which gives you 18% faster CPU performance, 19% faster GPU performance, and improved AI performance on the device. Samsung also promises seven years of support for operating system and security updates.

The Galaxy Z Fold6 is available in three models with internal storage capacities of 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB. It’s now lighter, weighing only 239 grams, while the Z Fold 5 weighs 253 grams.

The Fold 6’s camera hardware is exactly the same as last year. We still have a 50-megapixel main camera and a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto lens on the back. However, Samsung has updated the ultra-wide-angle lens to 12 megapixels this year, which Samsung says promises better performance in low-light conditions.

The Galaxy Z Fold6 is available in Silver Shadow, Pink and Navy.
