Airtel Opens New Airtel Money Branch in Mombasa

Airtel Kenya has opened a new Airtel Money Branch in Mombasa’s Central Business District (CBD). The telco says the move is part of the continuous expansion of its service footprint in the coastal region.

Centrally located on Haille Selassie Road, off Digo Road, the new branch adds to the over 2600 Airtel Money Branches countrywide.

It is strategically set up to serve the growing number of Airtel Money agents with float purchase and float balancing. Airtel adds new Airtel Money Branch will be a welcome addition to Mombasa CBD as Airtel customers won’t have to traverse long distances to access in person Airtel Money services.

Speaking during the launch of the shop, Airtel Money Managing Director, Anne Kinuthia Otieno, highlighted the vital role Airtel Money branches play with the growing adoption of Airtel Money services.

“With the launch of our new Airtel Money Branch, we are committed to enhancing the accessibility and convenience of Airtel Money services for our agents. This branch will ensure convenient access to float purchase and balancing, ultimately improving the efficiency and reliability of our services.” Said Anne Kinuthia Otieno.

The new branch will offer a comprehensive suite of services, including Airtel Money deposits and withdrawals, Airtel Money agent float purchase and balancing, SIM activation for prepaid and Post-Paid connections, Home Broadband devices, Sale of airtime in retail and wholesale, SIM swap, and general customer inquiries.

The new Airtel Money Branch will serve as a distribution point for Mombasa CBD and the surrounding areas.
