OPPO has today announced the launch of the OPPO Reno11 Series in the Kenyan Market featuring the latest ColorOs14 based on Android 14.
The Reno11 Series comes in two variants – Reno11 5G and Reno11 Pro 5G. There is no 4G variant.
OPPO says the new series sets a new standard for smartphone experience for its users from an Ultra-Clear Portrait Camera System, spearheaded by a 50MP Main Camera with OIS, the latest ColorOs14 based on Android 14 to a day-long battery life and best-in-class charging speeds.
Let’s take a look at the two devices.
OPPO Reno11 Pro 5G
This is the big brother here that runs on Android 14-based ColorOS 14 and sports a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,412 pixels) AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate.
OPPO has confirmed that the OPPO Reno11 Pro 5G will receive three major Android version upgrades and four years of security updates.
OPPO Reno 11 Pro 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
For the cameras, OPPO Reno 11 Pro 5G features a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS (optical image stabilisation) and 24mm focal length alongside a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 RGBW telephoto camera and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide camera.
OPPO has added a 4,600mAh battery to the Reno 11 Pro 5G with support for 80W SuperVOOC charging.
OPPO Reno11 Pro comes in two colours Pearl White and Rock Grey.
OPPO Reno11 5G
The OPPO Reno 11 5G comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC under the hood, coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It also boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED curved display with a dynamic refresh rate of 120Hz.
For the optics, the OPPO Reno 11 5G features a 50-megapixel Sony LYT600 sensor with a 26mm focal length and OIS support, a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 RGBW telephoto sensor, and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide sensor.
Battery-wise, we are getting a 5,000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC charging support on the OPPO Reno 11 5G.
The phone comes in colours Wave Green and Rock Grey
Both models have a centrally located hole punch cutout to house the selfie shooter.
Availability
The series will be available for purchase across OPPO stores country-wide, OPPO Kenya Website and on e-commerce partners, Jumia, Kilimall at a recommended retail price of Ksh67,999 for the Reno11 5G and Ksh85,999for the Reno11 Pro 5G.
As an exclusive launch promotion, OPPO says customers who pre-order period (26th January -31st January 2024) either the Reno11 5G or Reno11 Pro, will get a special OPPO branded gift box. From 1st February 2024, the OPPO Reno11 series will be available for purchase at all OPPO stores country-wide, OPPO Kenya website and e-commerce partners.
