Infinix has shared details of its Android 13 roadmap for some of its existing smartphones as it tries to address concerns from its users about software updates.
According to posts shared on its social media platforms, the company plans to roll out the update on Infinix NOTE 12 in June 2023 and the Infinix NOTE 12 PRO 5G in July 2023.
The Infinix Zero Ultra, Zero 5G, and Zero 20 are expected to receive the update on August 2023. All these devices were launched in 2022.
Infinix might be behind with the Android 13 update but again, this is a step in the right direction just that only a select number of the company’s devices will be getting this update.
If you own any of the devices mentioned, upgrading to Android 13 known as XOS 13 should be very easy. Just go to your settings, select System and then System Update. After this select Online Update. If an update is available, it will start downloading immediately.
Why is this update important?
As we mentioned Infinix might be behind in rolling out the update but it’s still good to see them doing this.
There are a number of interesting features to expect with this update including AOD Always On Display which lets you Design your own unique AOD with a digital photo frame.
Others include split screen, drag to share, and AI Gallery which lets you edit your photos more freely among other features.
