Digital payments firm DPO Pay announces new leadership appointments


African digital payments company DPO Pay has announced the appointment of Isabella Marira as Group Head of Operations. The firm has also named  Daisy Shipwoni as Head of Marketing.

In her new role, Isabella will be responsible for leading the core operational functions of DPO Pay, overseeing Customer Service, Fraud Prevention, Risk and Systems. Daisy on the other hand will be responsible for leading the development of all marketing plans and implementing effective marketing strategies across DPO Pay’s 20 operating countries.

Isabella has had vast experience in Digital Financial Services. She has been with DPO Pay since 2018, and has worked in various divisions across the organisation, including Fraud Prevention, Operations and Customer Care. In her later role as New Markets Development Manager, she successfully spearheaded market expansion of DPO Pay within UAE region following the acquisition by Network International. Isabella has been instrumental in defining and implementing processes and structures geared towards operational and strategic growth of the company.

Daisy brings over eight years of experience as a marketing and sales specialist in the technology industry, continuously growing sales income through cutting-edge presentations and customer-focused methods. Before joining DPO, she held various leadership roles in software and fintech companies across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, establishing marketing departments and developing brand strategies.
