42Markets Group, the financial and capital markets fintech investment group, has secured $10 million from Convergence Partners, to grow and develop its portfolio of companies.
42Markets Group is an incubator of specialist Fintech businesses that have deep expertise in financial and capital markets.
Focusing on financially sustainable and transformational businesses, the company builds exponential shareholder value by identifying scalable business opportunities in specialist financial and capital markets categories. It then uses its global reach and industry credibility to take these propositions to market.
42Markets Group CEO Andries Brink states the new funding, ‘’is a real vote of confidence in the positive impact investment in digital financial infrastructure can have, both in developing and in mature markets. ‘’
42Markets’s portfolio of companies includes Andile (UK), a financial and capital markets advisory platform, Mesh (Netherlands), a trading platform, and FX Flow, a foreign currency risk management system from South Africa.
This funding is one of Convergence Partners’ first investments in the digital transformation of financial markets. It also comes a few months after the private equity investor closed its Convergence Partners Digital Infrastructure Fund (CPDIF) at $296 million.
