This new Twitter feature allows businesses to display their location and contact info on their profile

Twitter has launched Location Spotlight, a feature that the company hopes will help give individuals and professionals with physical outlets a chance to display their contact information and more.

The new tool allows professionals with physical business locations to display their business address, hours of operation and additional contact information so that customers can reach them via phone, text, email or Twitter Direct Message.Ā ā€œ The company elaborated in a statement.

Twitter says that it will also integrate Google Maps onto this feature, allowing businesses to add a map of their business locations. This means customers would only need to click on the map to get directions and navigate there.

The Location Spotlight feature is available to all professional accounts on Twitter. It was previously known as About Module and launched in April 2021 and Twitter released it to a few businesses for testing.

This tool makes communication easier for customers to discover and interact with businesses on Twitter. It also gives businesses more clicks and additional traffic for your website, which holds greater potential to drive sales and revenue.

ā€œWeā€™re excited to bring the Location Spotlight to more professionals around the world and weā€™ve got more in the works.ā€

The company has promised more features and resources to help businesses improve their presence and performance on the platform.
