How To Watch The 2022 Kenyan Presidential Debate

The debate takes place on take place on July 26


The 2022 Kenyan presidential election debate is expected to be held on 26th July 2022 ahead of the August 9 General Election.

This will be the 3rd presidential debate to be ever held in the country and will go live from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm broadcasted from the Catholic University for Eastern Africa (CUEA) main campus in Karen, Nairobi.

Speaking to Capital FM this morning, Head of the Presidential Debates Secretariat Clifford Machoka said they expect over 40 Million Kenyans to tune in and follow the presidential debates.

”This year, we’re hoping to hit around 40 million, really is and that’s not even including digital. So basically the whole country” he said.

The debate will be streamed live by all media houses in Kenya including on digital platforms.

The presidential debate will also be preceded by the Deputy Presidential debate on July 19 and the Nairobi Gubernatorial debate to be held at the same venue on July 11 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
