Huawei nova Y70 with 6.75 inch display and 6000mAh launching in Kenya soon

Huawei Mobile Kenya has announced plans to launch the nova Y70 in the country soon. The phone is Huawei’s latest addition to the nova series after the nova9 SE (Review) that was launched last month.

Huawei will open pre-orders for the nova Y70 on June 17th with official sales going live from June 24th for Ksh.24,999. Huawei says the pre-orders will also come with free Bluetooth headphones.

Huawei nova Y70 Specs

The Huawei nova Y70 features a 6.75-inch FullView Display, a large 6000mAh battery plus a 22.5W HUAWEI SuperCharge.

The device is equipped with an Octa-Core processor (2×1.8 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6X1.8 GHz Cortex-A55). We are also getting some 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Huawei nova Y70 boasts an 8MP front camera for selfies and an AI Triple rear camera featuring a 48MP (f/1.8 aperture) High-res Main Camera, a 120° 5MP Ultra-Wide-Angle Camera and a 2MP Depth Camera.

Huawei nova Y70 runs EMUI 12 and will be available in three colours- Crystal Blue, Pearl White, and Midnight Black.

Again, the phone does not ship with Google services. What this means is you won’t be able to really enjoy a number of Google apps that come with all other Android smartphones. But does that mean you won’t be able to use the nova Y70, NO? You will still get to enjoy a smooth smartphone experience as Huawei is giving you options thanks to Huawei Mobile Services.

For example, Huawei replaced the Google Play Store with the Huawei App Gallery where you can find some of your favourite apps including local ones.

For the apps you cannot get on the Huawei App Gallery, you can download them through platforms such as APKPure.

What they said
