Infinix NOTE 11 Pro Performance: Gets Everything Right

Infinix NOTE 11 Pro Performance: The Infinix NOTE 11 Pro is one of those devices that we have spent quite some time with. Infinix officially launched the device last month for Ksh 28,499 and it’s one of the first devices to be powered with MediaTek’s new Helio G96 ultra-gaming processor.

With this device, Infinix said it’s bringing faster, stronger and more efficient power and performance leveraging a unique combination of advanced technologies to create its impressive, yet affordable line of smartphones.

We already have the full review up, in case you missed it you can read it here.  In this article, we focus on the key selling point for this phone which is the performance.

Helio G96 ultra-gaming processor

Infinix NOTE 11 Pro Review

As we had earlier mentioned, the Infinix NOTE 11 Pro is one of the first devices to feature the Helio G96 ultra-gaming processor.

Back in September, MediaTek announced that it will be making this chipset available in Kenya and Infinix was the first to grab this opportunity with the NOTE 11 Pro. The Helio G96

provides an upgrade for smartphone displays and photography capabilities. It ensures support for 120Hz displays with up to FullHD+ resolution. The Helio G96 120Hz display has no limitation in DDIC supply, C-phy or D-phy interface, and supports both LCD or AMOLED.

MediaTek Helio G96 also features two powerful Arm Cortex-A76 processor cores clocked up to a speedy 2.05GHz in its octa-core CPU, and Arm Mali-G57 provides great graphics performance. What this basically means is you are really getting some unrivalled performance on the Infinix NOTE 11 Pro, I mean this is really what you would expect from a phone powered by a powerful chipset like this one.

Combined with the 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, the Infinix NOTE 11 Pro

Is able to handle even the heaviest of games with heavy graphics. You can also run and switch between different apps without experiencing any lags.

Extended RAM

As much as you will be satisfied with the performance of the Infinix NOTE 11 Pro, people always want an even better performance. If by any chance your Infinix NOTE 11 Pro slows down or freezes when you have more apps actively running or running in the background then the phone gives you an option of extending the RAM. One of the possible reasons behind phones slowing down is that the phone could be running low on RAM.

NOTE 11 Pro features a brand new feature that allows the phone’s RAM to be boosted by 3GB in just a single click – from 8GB to 11BG.

With extended RAM technology-enabled, the number of apps that the Infinix NOTE 11 Pro can run simultaneously is increased from 9 to 20. With the same 20 apps running, the average startup speed of applications can be increased by 60% to about 300ms in the Note 11 Pro. The phone can load games faster and ensure that users can get into games quickly even if they switch among multiple apps.

Well, as we mentioned in our review article, the Infinix NOTE 11 Pro is an interesting device that you can actually consider. The Helio G96 ultra-gaming processor among the other features we highlighted in our review makes the phone a good buy for anyone looking to enjoy a smooth smartphone experience.
