vivo Launches Y21 in Kenya

vivo has today unveiled its latest device in Y-series,  the vivo Y21 in Kenya. vivo is selling the device for Ksh.16,999.

The vivo Y21 will be the successor to the vivo Y20 that was launched in Kenya for Ksh 13,999 back in February. It packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging technology that vivo says charges up to 34 percent in just 30 minutes.

vivo Y21 comes with a 6.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 (MT6765) processor and comes with 4GB of RAM with some 128GB of inbuilt storage.

For the cameras, the Vivo Y21 on the rear packs a dual-camera setup featuring a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The selfie camera is an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.

The Vivo Y21 runs Funtouch OS 11.1 is based on Android 11.

According to the vivo Brand Manager Mr. James Irungu, the brand seeks to bring quality products with fast focusing speed for all market.
