vivo Y21 Launching in Kenya Soon


vivo has announced plans to unveil a new device Y-series in Kenya, the vivo Y21 on September 28th.

vivo is promoting the device as the slimmest 5,000mAh-backed phone with an 8.0mm Sleek Design.

The vivo Y21 will be the successor to the vivo Y20 that was launched in Kenya for Ksh 13,999 back in February. You can read our review here.

‘’We seek to continue creating products with high performance and trendsetting design at an affordable price, vivo Y21, will be an exciting model that covers the key aspects yet affordable.’’   the company says.

Vivo Y21 comes with a 6.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 (MT6765) processor and comes with 4GB of RAM with some 128GB of inbuilt storage.

The Vivo Y21 runs Android 11 and is powered by a 5000mAh battery.

For the cameras, the Vivo Y21 on the rear packs a dual-camera setup featuring a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The selfie camera is an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.

The Vivo Y21 runs Funtouch OS 11.1 is based on Android 11.
