Oppo A74, A54 Officially Launched in Kenya With Bigger Batteries, and Fast Charging Support

Oppo Kenya has this morning announced two new smartphones in the country, Oppo A74, and Oppo A54.

As the numbers suggest, Oppo A74 is slightly more powerful than the A54. Oppo A74 features a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chip, while the A54 runs a Mediatek Helio P35 SoC.

Both have massive 5000mAh batteries, but the A74 includes support for 33W fast charging compared to 18W on the younger sibling. Oppo touts the included 33W flash charger to juice the phone from 0 to 54% in just 34 minutes.

Oppo A74 also packs more under the hood – 6GB of memory paired with 128GB of internal storage. You get the same internal storage on the A54, but the memory is 4GB.
