Jumia Partners with Mondia to launch a new gaming service for customers in Africa
It includes thousands of games at a monthly price
Africa’s eCommerce giant, Jumia, has partnered with Mondia (https://Mondia.com), a technology company specializing in marketing and distributing digital content to launch a new gaming service.
Together, the two companies announced the launch of Jumia Games, “a competitively priced entertainment category” on the JumiaPay App.
Jumia Games will be exclusively available to JumiaPay customers. It includes monthly subscription costs and guarantees users to “thousands of high-quality games” such as CR7, Ben10, Tom and Jerry, and Cartoon Network games.
Jumia Games is available in five countries where the eCommerce platform operates, including Kenya. Other four African countries that can access Jumia Games at launch include Egypt, Nigeria, Morocco, and Ghana.
The company has plans to expand the service to Jumia customers in Tunisia and Côte d’Ivoire over the next few months.
