CES To Host an In-Person Event in Las Vegas Come 2021
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will be held in an in-person event in Las Vegas come 2021. According to the event organizer, Consumer Technology Association(CTA), CES 2021 will be held both physically and digitally.
The event organizer says they are also adapting to the new realities but are committed to helping tech companies grow their businesses and brands. CES 2021 will have, however, have a wider selection of livestreamed content.
Conforming with the new realities, the CTA says they will prioritize the safety, security, and health of attendees and exhibitors.
Several measures will be put in place to take care of health concerns such as regularly cleaning and sanitization of spaces across the show venues, embrace social distancing, and other practices like wearing face masks and imposing a handshaking ban.
They will also provide sanitization stations, on-site access to health service and medical aid, and limit touchpoints throughout the facilities. Apart from these measures, CTA says they will continue to “assess and evaluate the latest solutions in the coming months” and will provide an update when necessary.
“…we will ensure our plans follow the recommendations of public health experts and standards set by the federal, state and local governments,” CTA says.
CES 2020 happened although other tech conventions like MWC weren’t able to after the spread of Coronavirus in various parts of the world.
