Less is more with innovative technology

In a hugely tech driven world, it has become more evident that device companies have to incorporate and augment technology into their appliances. Consumers have become more demanding on this with most tech exposed ones turning down traditional, non-tech adopted appliances. This is largely because of the convenience and efficiency that innovative devices bring. This, together with the desire to run life like a well-oiled machine, has led to integrated smart devices.

Bringing it closer home, the Kitchen in an African home is a source of nourishment and most people will have a memory attached to food or the kitchen. Runs after work or school straight to the refrigerator are nary rare. And so, since we live in a modern world with smart technology, smart kitchens have become more of a need rather than a want. Smart technology such as AI, IoT and Big data are now a common occurrence in our homes. As a consumer, you want to ensure that you pick an appliance that not only integrates technology, but that also gives you a simpler, efficient life. LG is one of the companies that has evolved to meet this demand and is continuously upgrading its devices to reflect the present and the future.

For example, LG ThinQ mixes technology with humanity to ensure that the end-user has the ultimate experience. The LG smart refrigerators let you control key features by using the LG ThinQ app on your smartphone or simple voice commands with the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. Features such as the IcePlus™ feature on the refrigerator can be activated with the push of a button or a simple voice command, ensuring you’ll have enough ice for your guests.

During CES 2020, LG revealed a new second-generation LG InstaView ThinQ that will have second- generation ThinQ technology. Food items placed inside or removed from the refrigerator, including the Door-in-Door® and crisper drawers, will be tracked with advanced vision and artificial intelligence for real-time inventory of what’s inside at any given moment. With this information, the new LG InstaView ThinQ fridge will be able to offer helpful meal suggestions based on available ingredients. The smarter technology will even alert homeowners when they’re running low on items and suggest options for reordering them, long before you arrive home to find out that you’re out of eggs. The smarter 2020 LG InstaView’s transparent front panel does more than just let users peer inside without opening the door and letting cold air escape. The panel doubles as a 22-inch display to browse the internet and watch cooking videos via Wi-Fi without a separate smartphone or tablet.

LG reduces your life’s complexities by equipping you with technology that is consumer and efficiency driven. Aiming for maximum performance, LG is dedicated to continuously evolving with you through different phases and stages in your day to day to day life be it in your office or home space. With LG you can make more plans and memories using less- a perfect fit for an efficient life.
