iPhone SE 2 Will Cost $399, Reports
After reports of the iPhone SE successor surfaced last week, Apple Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has added a few tidbits on the story so far. According to the analyst, the upcoming iPhone SE 2, which is said to come with a similar design to the iPhone 8 will be priced at $399.
Remember, Apple is mainly refreshing the iPhone SE in order to lure iPhone 6 users into upgrading. Questions about the pricing are valid. But hey, the phone will be running on Apple’s newly announced A13 Bionic chipset, which is way faster than even last year’s iPhones.
iPhone SE 2 will reportedly come in three color variants, Gray, Silver, and Red. Under the hood, is Apple’s A13 Bionic chipset aided by 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM paired with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.
3D Touch has been ditched but replaced with Haptic Touch.
If you plan to upgrade, get ready to ditch your wired headphones since the iPhone 8 doesn’t have a headphone jack. Unless Apple reconsiders that. iPhone SE 2 is slated to be launched in Q1 2020.
