Nokia 1 Plus receives a price cut in Kenya, now sells at Ksh 8,300
You’ve probably come across many Nokia devices now in Kenya, and the good news is if you’ve been eyeing a device below Ksh 10,000 -this is an excellent opportunity to grab one of the best in this price range.
The Nokia 1 Plus is now selling at a reduced price of Ksh.8,300. Announcing the price cut HMD Global Senior Business Manager Gopher Ogembo stated, “We are happy to announce today that more Nokia smartphone fans looking to upgrade their entry-level phones that they can get the Nokia 1 Plus at a reduced price.”
“Nokia 1 Plus combines a big display, solid imaging, and aspirational design with a unique nano-pattern finish laced with the latest Android 9 Pie (Go Edition).” He added.
Nokia 1 Plus is an excellent device for first-time smartphone holders, but still, it does not harm to try out entry-level devices even if you’re an avid mid-range smartphone user.
The device was launched early this year running the stripped version of Android, Go Edition best suited for entry-level spec smartphones. At the time of launch, the smartphone sold at Ksh 9,300, which makes the new price (Ksh 8,300) stand out as a good deal.
At this price you get a 5.45-inch IPS display, 2500mAh battery, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, an 8MP rear camera with LED flash plus a 5MP selfie camera. The device also runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie (Go Edition). As usual, Nokia promises two years of major Android OS updates -one of the major selling points, but no doubt they have done it already in the past.
