Nokia 3.1 Plus, Specs, Price and availability in Kenya


HMD Global announced that the availability of the new Nokia 3.1 Plus in Kenya. The device was first launched globally in October 2018.

Mark Misumi, HMD Business Manager East Africa said, “with a lot of people sending us positive feedback about our Nokia 3.1, we have decided to take the experience and gone big in a bid to deliver premium experiences for our customers at an exceptional value.”

The Nokia 3.1 Plus comes with a 6.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1440 pixels, measures 156.68 x 76.44 x 8.19 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 180.00 grams.

The phone is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core (4x2GHz + 4×1.5GHz) processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The Nokia 3.1 Plus runs Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by a 3500mAh non removable battery.

For the cameras, the Nokia 3.1 Plus packs a 13-megapixel (f/2.0, 1.12-micron) primary camera and a 5-megapixel (f/2.4, 1.12-micron) secondary camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, Micro-USB, FM, Active 4G on both Nano SIM cards, 3G and 4G.

Sensors include Face unlock, Fingerprint sensor, Compass/ Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.

The Nokia 3.1 Plus comes in Baltic and Charcoal colours and is already available in the market -selling for an estimated Ksh 17,500.
