Huawei has officially unveiled the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro in Kenya
Huawei has unveiled the Huawei Mate 20 series which include the Mate 20 and the Mate 20 Pro in Kenya. The two devices were launched globally in October 2018.
Remember the Mate 20 series is traditionally Huawei’s highest-end offering, featuring the year’s latest technology. The Huawei Mate 20 will retail at Ksh.74,999 while the Huawei Mate 20 Pro will be selling at Ksh. 99,999.
The Huawei Mate 20 comes with a with a 6.53-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2244 pixels. It is powered by octa-core (2×2.6GHz + 2×1.92GHz + 4×1.8GHz) processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB. For the cameras, you’re getting 12-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera and a 16-megapixel (f/2.2) secondary camera on the rear and a 24-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro, on the other hand, comes with with a 6.39-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 3120 pixels. It is powered by octa-core (2×2.6GHz + 2×1.92GHz + 4×1.8GHz) processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB. For the cameras, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro packs a 40-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera and a 20-megapixel (f/2.2) secondary camera on the rear and a 24-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro also runs Android 9.0 and is powered by a 4200mAh battery.
Both devices are powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 980 7nm SoC with dual AI processor.
