Samsung Accidentally Leaks The Galaxy Note 9 Intro Video

We have not talked so much about the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Samsung’s next flagship device set be launched on 9th August. Samsung has already sent out invites to its Unpacked event (This is what Samsung usually calls its mobile launch events), complete with a close-up of a yellow/gold S Pen and button.

The event will be held live in New York but for us in Kenya we will also be able to stream it live. We will be sharing the links on our social media pages. If you’re a Samsung Note series enthusiast them you might be really looking forward to the launch.

Little is being said about the device apart from the usual specs leaks as is usually the case with nearly all smartphone brands before they launch.

Samsung’s website in New Zealand has however accidentally published a video featuring the Galaxy Note 9. The video, which has already been taken offline was first noticed by tech website SamMobile.

The video shows the Galaxy Note 9 and the ‘’S Pen’’ stylus. It also suggests that the Galaxy Note 9 will support 512 of internal storage which can be expanded up to 1 terabyte. I wish this turns out to be true coz this is something I would really want in a phone 🙂

Samsung has not issued any statement about the video but as we said they video has been pulled down, but another version of it still live on YouTube

Expected Galaxy Note 9 Specs and features

Rumours suggest that the Galaxy Note 9 is expected to be the first Samsung phone with an in-display fingerprint sensor. In terms of design, we expect it to be not so different from what we saw on the Galaxy Note 8, but with some slight improvements from the Galaxy S9 and s9+ thrown in. This basically means we might be seeing a slightly thicker body, smaller bezels, and stronger metals on the sides.

The smartphone is also rumoured to feature a curved a 6.4-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display and a larger battery of 4,000mAh. This is an upgrade of the 3000mAh we saw last year on the Galaxy Note 8. We should also expect to see an upgraded dual rear camera setup.

The Galaxy Note 9 might also come with 6GB of RAM and  as with the  the Galaxy S9 and S9+, we are expecting the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor inside the Note 9 too, with some models opting for the latest Samsung Exynos instead depending on region.

Well, that’s all we can speculate for now. In the meantime, all we can do is wait for August 9th when Samsung officially unveils the Galaxy Note 9 to the world.
