The Upcoming Infinix NOTE 5 will be an Android One phone; leaked specs & other expected features.
Its that time of the year where you expect Infinix Mobility to be launching a new device in their NOTE series. This time around we are looking at the Infinix NOTE 5, the successor of the NOTE 4 and the company has already started sending out teasers confirming the same.
We are not sure when the company plans to unveil the Infinix NOTE 5 in the country but the company will have a Global launch on June 24th in Dubai. One thing we know for sure is that just like its predecessor, we will be getting two variants, which will include the Note 5 Stylus.
The stylus Xpen was actually the key highlight of the Infinix NOTE, and the device was the first from Infinix to feature the Xpen. Hopefully, the Infinix NOTE 5 will come with more improvements unlike what we saw in the NOTE 4.
Details about the expected features are also still scanty but some leaks suggest we could be staring at an 18:9 screen ratio. Again, this should not surprise us; 18.9 aspect ratio screens on smartphones are going to be big this year with almost every manufacturer on board with the new format. And this means those who want to stick with the older screen format will have few choices. Infinix does not want to be left behind and just as we said in my Infinix HOT 6 Pro review, this is probably something we will be seeing in all Infinix future devices.
The Infinix NOTE 5 will also be part of Google’s Android One project, which is pretty exciting. Well, Android One was originally designed for first-time smartphone users in emerging markets and Infinix NOTE 5 being part of it only means the device brings with it a guarantee that it’s a solid and stable version of Android that’s not loaded with other apps, services or bloatware.
Android One, which is described as the ‘purest form of Android’’ comes without any of the stuff that most smartphone manufacturers like to bundle in – no skins, no duplicate apps and those annoying additional services. We have seen Android One on the recently launched Nokia devices: Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6.1 (2018). The Xiaomi Mi A1, HTC U11 Life are also part of Android One.
Other rumored features include a 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, while the Note 5 Pro would pack 64GB and a massive 5000mAh Non-removable battery.
For now all we can do is wait. We will be sharing more details as we get them. Remember to subscribe to ensure you don’t miss out on anything. We will also have a short discussion on the same in our next episode of 24Bit podcast so remember to check it out and subscribe as well.
I know it will be a very nice one,but seeing is believing.
