WhatsApp’s New Update will let iPhone users Queue Messages Without Internet connection

WhatsApp has rolled out some major update which is probably going to make iPhone users happy. The update will let iPhone users send WhatsApp text messages even when they do not have mobile data connection or wifi.

“Messages will be queued up and sent when your phone regains a connection,” WhatsApp clarifies in the App Store listing.

This new ability to queue messages should come as reprieve especially when in areas where there is poor or no connectivity.  When you send a WhatsApp message to an individual where connectivity is unavailable, the message will be sent automatically once you get connectivity on your iPhone.

WhatsApp has also increased the WhatsApp photo and video sharing limit to 30 at one go.  WhatsApp has been testing the increased media limit in the Android better app, and now it iPhone users will be the first people to use it.

WhatsApp will also soon allow users to recall or edit messages already sent to their contacts. The feature is currently available in WhatsApp’s iPhone beta version. This feature was first spotted by WABetaInfo, and screenshots shared on Twitter show how messages can be deleted — or “recalled”. A new Edit option also appears in the settings menu.

There is no official comment from WhatsApp about this feature though on when exactly it be rolled out.  Well, all we can do is wait.
