Facebook might be considering to let you earn money from your posts

It looks like Facebook was very serious when it said that it wanted to help publishers monetize their content with its new Instant Articles feature. What Facebook was not clear however was how it was going to let users earn from their posts.

An instant survey seen by The Verge however hints that the company could be working on a broad range of ways that users could earn money. The ways include accepting donations in posts either to earn some cash or aid a charitable cause.

The survey according to The Verge also asked users to indicate their interest in a “call to action” button, a way to let followers make donations, and a “sponsor marketplace” to match users with advertisers.

It’s not yet clear whether Facebook will make this available to all users, though the language used in the survey suggested it is targeted to verified users only.

It will be interesting to see how this turns out and we will be following to see when Facebook plans to role this feature out.
