Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE) has announced the launch of the 5th edition of the Kenya Blog Awards.
The awards seek to reward and recognize exceptional bloggers that have great and useful content, are creative and innovative.
The submission phase starts today and ends on 10th February for blogs in 19 categories and thereafter judges will decide the best 5 in each category before the public votes for their best in each category. This year, one new category, the Best Religious/Spirituality blog, has been added.
The growth in the Kenyan blogging space over the years has seen a steady increase. Last year alone more that 1800 blogs were submitted for the awards with over 150,000 votes recorded.
These awards according to BAKE represent its efforts in the promotion of quality content creation.
The judging phase starts on February 11th 2016 to February 28th 2016 while the voting phase begins on March 2nd 2016 to April 30th 2016. Winners will be announced on May 7th 2016.
