WhatsApp is reportedly working on adding video calls support to the service, German Apple blog Macerkopf has claimed.
The blog which also provided allegedly leaked images of video calling in action claims that WhatsApp is working on the feature.
While the images might not be concrete evidence, the report should not come as a surprise. This year, WhatsApp added voice call support that enables users to make voice calls.
Aside voice calling, WhatsApp seems to be also testing browser-style tabs for quick switching between multiple chats.
Macerkopf believes it will be implemented in the coming weeks. We’ve contacted WhatsApp for more information and will update this post if we hear back.
