The Galaxy J1 is the first device in the Galaxy J lineup. The Galaxy J1, from Samsung, was first available for purchase in February 2015. This device operates on Android 4.4 which is the second newest version available. The Galaxy J1 has a 4.3 inch screen, which is a bit smaller than an average display. In terms of battery capacity, which is the best indicator of overall battery life, it holds 1,850 mAh, which is just 7.5% worse than the average of 2,000 mAh for a phone.
The phone’s body is 129.00 mm high, 68.20 mm wide, and has a depth of 8.90 mm, 10% thinner than an average smartphone in the 4.1 – 4.5 inch screen range. In fact, it’s thin enough to have a case and still be thinner than an average phone. With a weight of 122 grams, it’s one of the lightest smartphones for its size.
The phone comes with a 5 megapixel rear (primary) camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. The base model of the Galaxy J1 has 4 GB of internal storage, which is subpar for storing music and video. Fortunately, you can cheaply expand its storage by as much as 128 GB with a microSD card.
