Product Review: ASUS Google Nexus 7
Overview
The ASUS Google 7 tablet, surprised us once we were given a chance to review the gadget. Its sleek body, portability and small size. It is also affordale as it goes for Kshs. 20, 000 in major outlets in major outlets. It’s not quite as good as the new iPad mini, but if you don’t fancy iOS this is the tablet you want.

Another wow fact about the gadget is the fact that the there is no space between screen and the body its all way glassy. Simply awesome
Nexus 7 is powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the latest version of the world’s most popular mobile platform. With smarter notifications that let you respond quickly, beautiful new widgets that put your favorite content front and center, and home screen customization that’s drag-and-drop easy, Android is now faster and more intuitive than ever.
However, the Nexus 7 is only WiFi enabled and lacks GSM. It also lacks a memory card slot thus one can’t expand the internal memory though the memory is large enough to accommodate much data. It also comes with a nice screen that is colorful. The name Nexus is also encrypted at the back making it look pretty and also ASUS at the far end. There is a USB port at the bottom and earphones port at the top on the left hand side.
To unlock the screen, there is a button on the right hand side edge of the gadget followed by another button that enables one increase music volume. Something more interesting is the fact that the gadget has a limit to volume and in case you would want to increase past the limit, the gadget has to send a request.
Conclusion
Vedict: the gadget is simply amazing the technology behind it and the portability makes it a die for gadget. Great screen and long battery life makes it easy to walk and work with.
