Orange to distribute Juliani album

Integrated telecommunication services provider Orange has signed an agreement with local Kenyan musician Juliani that will see the popular musician sell his third album, ‘Exponential potential’, exclusively through the Telco’s 35 flagship outlets across the country.

Orange together with Juliani will also initiate road shows, as an activation mechanism across the country, promoting both the album and Orange to his fans. Mombasa, Nairobi, Eldoret, Kisumu and Nakuru are some of the towns in which these road shows will be held in the coming weeks. The album’s distribution that will be exclusively done in Orange outlets will also see Juliani conduct album signings in select outlets during this period.

The campaign will also employ heavy digital engagement via social media platforms, as the two entities seek to better engage with a key target niche – the youth. This is a population segment that is always connected to the Internet and one that accesses social media platforms, streams and downloads music videos through multiple smart devices.
“Orange is continuously improving on the avenues it employs to effectively engage with the youth. Our association with Juliani is a strategic move in that direction; to better galvanise our presence with this target market,” says company CEO, Mickael Ghossein.

Pre-orders of the album will be made exclusively via the company’s mobile money platform – Orange Money. Moreover, customers will enjoy a 20% discount on the KShs.500 priced album when they purchase through Orange Money
