Digital Fair kicks off today in Nairobi

Nairobi will host this year’s Digital Fair themed as Powering the Digital Future, which will help link today’s research and innovations with visions for the future.

The event is set to be held from March 7th  to March 9th 2014  at Sarit Centre . 

The exhibition is organized by Eyeballs Events and Marketing Limited which successfully organized the first Social Media Awards last year. Established Companies such as Safaricom, Nokia,  Google (bebapay), Techno, Squad Digital, Standard Digital, NaiLab and M-Farm will also be in attendance.

Digital Fair is a 3 day platform for a diverse group of people including researchers, critics, the business network and the public in general to meet, exchange experiences, debate ideas and reflect on essential challenges and the expected impact of digital network technologies in our society.

The Fair provides a platform to different organizations to illustrate their technological capabilities and showcase the latest digital trends. The exhibitors are drawn from all sectors of the economy including telecommunication, government bodies, media and advertising firms, lifestyle product, learning institutions and Techie companies among others.

The Fair is open to the public who are allowed to access the exhibition venue free of charge to interact with different exhibitors, listen to their presentations, experience technology and buy some of the products on offer. The Fair will offer complete digital experience to visitors interested in the latest digital trends, lifestyle gadgets and other technologies designed to simplify and enrich their lifestyles.
