Asus Unveils a range of products set to hit the market this year

To show how ASUS weaves technology into the fabric of our everyday lives ASUS chairman Jonney Shih in his Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2014 keynote address, celebrated the company’s In Search of Incredible brand spirit by unveiling different products from Asus set to hit the market sometime this year.

The first of these ground-breaking innovations is ZenFone, a range of 4 to 6-inch smartphones that embodies the ASUS commitment to creating incredible experiences that transform expectations. Other innovative products include Transformer Book Duet(TD 300), the world’s first quad-mode dual-operating-system (OS) laptop and tablet in one, and PadFone mini, a 4-inch smartphone that transforms effortlessly into a 7-inch tablet.

However, the most exciting product though is the Asus Zenfone 6,which will hit the market in the first quarter of this year. It  offers a huge 6-inch display an intel atom processor a 2 megapixell front-facing camera, a 13 megapixel camera and 1GB of RAM all in a  single handset. Its going to come in multiple colors which include, red, black, gold and white and will soon have Android 4.4.2 KitKat.It will also launch android 4.3 Jelly Bean .

Once in the market, the Asus Zenfone will be sold at an affordable price of $ 200. Asus is also set to release Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 5.

ZenFone 4 has a gorgeous 4-inch display and a powerful dual-core 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2520 processor with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology that delivers two threads per core making this a smartphone that never leaves the user waiting for a response  while ZenFone 5 has a spacious 5-inch IPS panel that delivers superb high-definition (HD) 1280×720-pixel resolution and in a stunning design that tapers to just 5.5mm at its thinnest edge. It sports an Intel Atom Z2580 processor running at 2GHz.

Zenfone 6 joins the category of other android smartphones thathave large displays but still hold plenty of differences as far as the specs are concerned, which include Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and LG Optimus.
