Popular messaging platform WhatsApp could introduce a paid service soon for users of WhatsApp Business.
A new report by Wabetainfo, reveals that the Meta-owned platform whose service has been free-for –for all plans to introduce additional features at a fee to users. This will, however, be optional and those who opt out of the plan will continue to enjoy WhatsApp Business with its current features.
With the new version, users can add four more devices to access WhatsApp raising this figure to 10. The current version of WhatsApp Business supports six devices to connect to the WhatsApp Web account.
This feature makes it easy for collaboration between team members using different devices in various locations. It can also be accessed on computers, tablets as well smartphones. The subscription plan is yet to be launched and no timelines have been given yet.
According to Wabetainfo, WhatsApp is working o several new features including a redesigned interface for the “Linked Device.
