LG’s 2021 TVs include a ‘Game Optimizer’ feature that allows users to tweak settings per-game-basis

I have owned different TV brands ever since I started spending money on a TV. There are so many reasons why I would choose brand X over another brand because for people like me a TV is just not a tech product that I use to watch the news.

I use my TV for streaming movies and even playing video games and this only means the kind of TV I decide to buy should be able to handle all this perfectly without too much strain. This is where the New LG TV Lineup for 2021 comes in.

The new models unveiled in August this year include the OLED Evo range, QNED Mini LED TV models, Nano Cell TV series, and UHD AI ThinQ TVs.

The OLED range includes three models with 55-inch, 65-inch, and 77-inch options. LG also unveiled a new OLED EVO panel available in Gallery Model G1 along with new models in the A1, B1, and C1 series. The LG QNED Mini LED range on the other hand includes 8K and 4K models under the QNED99 and QNED91 series, respectively.

As I mentioned, gaming is one of the reasons I would prefer a certain television brand over the other. You will agree with me that the gaming industry which is really booming has had an impact on television manufacturers.

The LG 2021 lineup of smart TVs features some gamer-centric features, including settings, and native game streaming. One of these features is Game Optimizer that allows users to tweak settings to their preference or even on a per-game-basis.

They are tweaks users would likely use such as lag reduction and variable refresh rate, which also reflects LG’s focus on AI.

Game Optimizer on the LG TVs not only enables AI-based game sound tuning, but even optimizes the image for specific game genres including, FPS, RPG, and RTS – LG will adjust for a first-person shooter, role-playing game or even a real-time strategy title.

With this feature, you can access everything in one place for greater control over picture and sound settings. LG OLED TVs are the only ones certified to have both NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync™ technologies with also VRR. This added control ensures all your games will be clear and smooth with a less lag, stutter, and tearing.
