Infinix ZERO 8 is Launching in Kenya Today

Infinix is launching its new flagship device in Kenya for 2020, dubbed Infinix ZERO 8 today. The company has already teased about the phone and even went ahead to partner with a prominent Kenyan designer for the launch.

Infinix ZERO 8 boasts a unique looking design. The camera module has a unique diamond-shaped arrangement, and the back of the phone has a two-toned design that adds acts extra oomph to the theme. It will also sell in diamond colours – Silver Diamond, Black Diamond, and Green Diamond.

It’s the company’s first phone to feature a dual selfie camera setup on the front, including a 48-megapixel lens as the primary shooter and an 8MP secondary camera.

At the back is a 64MP lens made by Sony coupled with three other lenses; an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth camera.

Another main highlight of the phone is the 90Hz refresh rate, a popular addition in two phones recently launched in Kenya, like TECNO Camon 16 Premier and realme 6.

For the first time, Infinix is also offering 33W fast charging support. Memory has also been bumped up from just 6GB in Infinix ZERO 6 Pro to 8GB while still maintaining 128 GB of internal storage.

Infinix ZERO 8 will also have a 6.85-inch 90Hz FHD+ display, Android 10, Mediatek Helio G90T, USB Type C, and a 4,500mAh battery.
