Infinix Na Comrades Campus Campaign to mentor University Students in Photography


 

Students from local universities are set to benefit from a mentorship programme thanks Infinix Mobile.

Dubbed Infinix Na Comrades Campus Campaign, staff from Infinix Mobile will be visiting campuses in the month of July with the aim of appreciating mobile photography among the students. Already, the campaign has visited the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Karen. They visit at JKUAT coincided with the university’s culture week and here students got a chance to experience and learn about mobile photography.

Universities that have already benefited from the programme include Moi and Multimedia. Mt.Kenya University is set for 29th of July, the same day the university will also be holding a beauty pageant to crown Mr. and Miss. MKU 2016.

According to Cynthia Njiru from Infinix, ‘’The activity is not for the purposes of marketing but a mentorship programme whose long-term goal will include enabling students to meet top pro photographers in Kenya for a learning experience.’’

During the second phase of the program set for September, the students will get a chance to be mentored by top photographers in the country which Infinix says will be an opportunity for the students to learn with the pros.

During the campaign, Infinix will have different games in the tent where students will have a chance to win various giveaways.
