Little Partners With St. John Ambulance To Offer Emergency Ambulance Services
Ride-sharing company, Little, now offers emergency ambulance services right inside the app. In partnership with St. John Ambulance, the ride-sharing company now wants you to be able to sort out your emergencies without a hassle.
“We cannot always anticipate emergencies, but Little is here to rescue you when they happen,” the company wrote in an email sent to its customers on Saturday.
Through this partnership, Little customers can now order for ambulance services inside the app under the Transport tab and pay directly using credit/debit card and MPESA. Cash payments are also accepted, but, cash is not an advisable form of payment due to the current situation.
The emergency ambulance services cost Ksh 6,000.
How to Access Ambulance Services on Little
Step 1: Download/Update your Little app
Step 2: Login/sign up for Little
Step 3: Go to the ‘Transport’ category and select Ambulance
Step 4: A Pop up with Dispatcher’s contact details will appear and allow you to contact them
Step 5: Dispatcher sends the ambulance
Step 6: The Ambulance crew attends to customers and evacuates them to their hospital of choice.
Step 7: Customer pays using the Little app either through credit/debit card or MPESA.
Little Explores More Opportunity in Healthcare
Covid-19 has brought some changes to Little’s business as the company strives to help Kenyans navigate through this difficult period.
In early May, Little began offering limited FREE rides up to Ksh 600 per ride to customers in need of medical attention to M.P. Shah Hospital and Jacaranda Maternity Hospital in Nairobi, between 7 PM and 5 AM. Little expanded their reach later last month taking the total number of hospitals covered to nine.
