NCBA climbs 7 spots as one of Africa’s Most Valuable Brands
NCBA climbed 7 spots to secure the 85th position as one of Africa’s Most Valuable Brands in 2024. This is according to a new report from Brand Finance, the world’s leading brand valuation consultancy released recently.
NCBA is one of Kenya’s leading financial institutions and is ranked the third-largest bank in the country. The Central Bank of Kenya’s Bank Supervision Annual Report for 2023 reveals that the bank held 64.5 per cent of the banking sector market share as of December 2023.22 Jul 2024.
NCBA said in a statement that the new ranking by Brand Finance reflects its pursuit of excellence and commitment to serving its customers better.
Brand Finance has calculated the brand value of the NCBA brand 3 times between 2022 and 2024. The NCBA brand valuation has also featured in 6 brand rankings, including the biggest Kenya brands and the best Africa brands.
Every year, the firm puts 5,000 of the biggest brands to the test and publishes nearly 100 reports, ranking brands across all sectors and countries. The world’s top 500 most valuable and strongest banking brands are included in the annual Brand Finance Banking 500 ranking.
