Xiaomi 11T Pro with 120W charging officially launched in Kenya


Xiaomi Kenya has officially unveiled the Xiaomi 11T Pro smartphone in the Kenyan market. The phone was launched in Europe a few months ago alongside the Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi is now making the Pro model available in the local market. 

Xiaomi says the Xiaomi 11T Pro is another reassuringly capable Xiaomi phone for a highly competitive price. 

The phone features a 6.67-inch flat 10bit AMOLED true-colour display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Xiaomi 11T Pro houses an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

When it comes to the cameras, the Xiaomi 11T Pro houses a triple rear camera setup that includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a tele macro shooter. We are also getting a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W Xiaomi HyperCharge fast charging (supported charger is in the box). Xiaomi claims you can charge the phone from 0% to 72% in just 10 minutes and to 100% in 17 minutes. The 120W makes the Xiaomi 11T Pro the fastest charging phone in the country.

The  Xiaomi 11T Pro smartphone runs on Android 11 + MIUI 12.5 operating system. 

Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, IR blaster, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The phone features a USB Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go, GPS with dual-band A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS, NavIC and is available in three colour options – Meteorite Gray, Moonlight White, and Celestial Blue.

The device goes live on sale on Jumia Kenya starting today 17th December 2021 for Ksh.49, 999 for the 8+128GB variant while the 8+ 256GB variant will be selling at Ksh. 64,999. You can visit Xiaomi’s official store on Jumia here to buy one.
