vivo V25 5G smartphone launched in Kenya for KES 57K


vivo has today officially launched the vivo V25 5G smartphone in Kenya. Featuring a colour-changing design, the phone will be available for KES 56,999.

vivo says the new V25 5G will give users the power to embark on a self-expression journey with its stunning camera, powered by high-performance, energy-efficient hardware, all cased in an exquisite body.

“vivo V series has always been about being innovative and technologically advanced while exuding style and encouraging users to create, have fun, and explore. The new V25 5G continues to embody this concept and provide users with fresh tools and features,” said James Irungu, Brand and Communications Manager at vivo.

The vivo V25 5G smartphone features a 90 Hz refresh rate 6.44-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080×2404 pixels (FHD+).

It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor and comes with 8GB and 128GB of internal storage. It runs Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 and is powered by a 4,500mAh non-removable battery.

For the optics, the V25 5G on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel (f/1.79) primary camera; an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. There is a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 50-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.

The device is available in two colour options – Aquamarine Blue and Diamond Black.
