Vivo V21 launched in Kenya, available for Ksh. 41,999


With pre-orders for the vivo V21 smartphone having come to an end, vivo has today officially launched the device in Kenya.

The Vivo V21 is the the latest device in vivo’s V-series smartphones to be launched in market and will be available for Ksh. 41,999.

“We developed our V21 lineup based on our insights into what our customers value the most in their phones. This OIS front camera marks a radical step in setting the standard for future smartphone front cameras,” said James Irungu vivo Kenya Brand and Communications Manager.

Vivo V21 Specs

The vivo V21  comes with a 6.44-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2404 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Vivo V21 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. It runs Android 11 and is powered by a 4000mAh battery.

For the cameras, we will be getting a rear  64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture; an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The phone will sport a 44-megapixel camera on the front for selfies with an f/2.0 aperture. This 44MP OIS front camera combines features including AI Night portrait, Super Night Mode, Advanced Autofocus, and a stable 4K video.

Vivo V21 runs Funtouch OS 11.1 and is based on Android 11. It will be available in Kenya in Sunset Dazzle, and Dusk Blue colour options.
