The New LG TV Lineup Are The Best For Watching Sports

We are now in the 3rd quarter of the year. It’s that time of the year that we have so many sporting activities going on including the English Premier League that’s keeping people like me busy especially during the weekend.

Watching these sporting activities means I need a good TV.

Over the last few years, a number of TV manufacturers have been focusing their efforts in making and releasing models that will keep sports fans like me to enjoy my sporting experience. When my favourite football team is playing, for example, I will want a TV equipped to handle the fast action in maximum detail with bright and vivid colours.

The market offers lots of options but a good pick for me would be the LGs 2021 lineup of TV models with the new OLED Evo range, QNED Mini LED TV models, Nano Cell TV series, and UHD AI ThinQ TVs released this year.

The OLED Evo range includes three models with 55-inch, 65-inch, and 77-inch options. LG also unveiled a new 88-inch 8K OLED model along with new models in the A1, B1, and C1 series. The LG QNED Mini LED range on the other hand includes 8K and 4K models under the QNED99 and QNED91 series, respectively.

The new LG UHD AI ThinQ TVs are slimmer and come with a three-side cinema screen design.

That said, why are the above TVs good for streaming or watching your favorite sport?

AI Picture Pro

Picture quality on this line-up of these new LG tvs received a massive upgrade thanks to AI Picture Pro

Developed from a vast database of over one million visual data points, the deep-learning algorithm recognizes content quality, and the 3rd generation α9 AI processor removes noise, and optimizes contrast and saturation.

AI Picture Pro does instant analysis of the data presented and detects faces, bodies, and other objects in the image.  The result is crisp, higher quality visuals. The upgraded deep-learning technology makes faces appear more vivid, and on-screen text much sharper and clearer to read.

AI Picture Pro also features Scene Detection. What this means is, instead of you picking up your remote and changing your display brightness, your new LG TV will recognize those scenes and adjust itself accordingly.

LG AI Sound Pro

This is one feature that will also make you enjoy watching that game to the fullest.

AI Sound Pro uses adaptive sound control to automatically adjust frequency range and sound field extension, depending on which genre of content the user is watching: news, music or cinema.

This enhancement brings out the vibrant details in whatever sports you’re watching so you can hear every commentary, goal celebration or even sound effect.

By learning from more than 17 million sound data points, the a9 Gen 4 AI processor on these new LG TVs identifies voices, effects, and frequencies so it can optimize sound according to the audio genre.

The size of your room, the position of the TV, and even where you’re sitting are detected through the magic remote. The processor then tunes and balances the sound to fit your space. Pretty cool if you ask me.

The new LG TVs are packed with some pretty interesting AI capabilities. The a9 Gen 4 AI processor process knows when, how and where to improve sound and adjust your display, giving you a completely new sporting experience.
