Samsung has unveiled 4 new devices in Kenya: Galaxy JZ Duo, Galaxy J4, Galaxy J6 and Galaxy A6+.


Samsung Electronics East Africa has today unveiled four new devices in the Kenyan market.  Dubbed the Ultimate Squad, Samsung says the four smartphones, Samsung Galaxy JZ Duo, Galaxy J4, Galaxy J6 and Galaxy A6+  are targeted to different consumers based on their needs.

Below are the devices including the specs.

Galaxy JZ Duo

 

The Samsung Galaxy JZ Duo is targeted for photography lovers and features a dual camera setup. The rear camera in the Galaxy J7 Duo has a 13-megapixels and 5-megapixels setup while the front camera sports an 8-megapixel shooter. Both cameras come with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash and that’s why Samsung is calling it ‘’The Photographer’’

The Galaxy JZ Duo comes with a The 5.5” HD Super AMOLED display. It also comes with Exynos 7885 Octa-core 2.2GHz processor, and runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, 4GB RAM and  32GB memory that is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card and 3,000 mAh battery.

The Galaxy J7 Duo will cost you Ksh.31,000.

Galaxy J4

Samsung Electronics East Africa is calling the Galaxy J4 the Trend Setter. The device comes with a 5.50-inch display with 720 pixels by 1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM.

In terms of storage, the Galaxy J4 packs a 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD. For the cameras, the Galaxy J4 offers you a 13- megapixels rear camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy J4 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Galaxy J4 runs Android 8.0 and is powered by a 3000mAh. It will be available for Ksh. 19,999

Galaxy J6

Samsung is calling the Galaxy J6 ‘’The Movie Star’’ probably due to the nearly full-screen display on the device. The display is 5.6-inch Super AMOLED  with a 720p resolution.

The Galaxy J6 runs on a 1.6 GHz Exynos 7870 processor, has 32 GB of onboard storage which is expandable to up to 256 GB, and with 3 GB of RAM. It also comes with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with a 3,000 mAh battery.

For the cameras, the Galaxy J6 has 13 megapixel and 8-megapixel cameras, It will retail at Ksh.26,999.

Galaxy A6+

The Galaxy A6+ is meant for selfie lovers and features a 24-megapixel front camera and a dual 16MP+5MP rear camera setup. It has 6.0 inches of screen with a resolution of 1080×2220 pixels.

The Galaxy A6 Plus runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) and packs a battery capacity of non-removable Li-Ion 3500mAh battery. It has 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, and a non-removable 3500mAh battery.

The Galaxy A6+ will cost you Ksh. 40,000.
