Galaxy J8 Specs, Price and Availability in Kenya


Samsung has announced the addition of another device to its 2018 J series, the Galaxy J8. The introduction of the J8 comes after the launch of four other devices under the banner, the Ultimate Squad. The devices include the Galaxy JZ Duo, Galaxy J4, Galaxy J6 and Galaxy A6+.

The Galaxy J8 is a 6-inch device with an aspect ratio of 18:5:9 and a dual camera setup. It comes with a Snapdragon 450 octa-core 1.8GHz processor and 3GB of RAM and is powered by a 3,500mAh battery. The Galaxy J8 also comes with a fingerprint reader at the back and face recognition features for added security.

Charles Kimari, the Head of Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics notes that the firm would continue sharing the amazing technology on the flagship models with consumers within the mid-tier category.

“Over the years, the performance of the flagship devices in our market has been impressive as the technology space continues to open up. And as our research team continues to develop market-leading technology, we strive to spread these innovations across all our market segments. This has already been the case with the Galaxy A6+, J6, J7 Duo and J4 devices we introduced recently,” he added.
