Jumia launches Brands Festival Campaign to make quality products more affordable

Jumia Kenya has launched Brand Festival, a new campaign to make quality products more affordable for its customers. The e-commerce giant has partnered with top brands such Samsung, Bruhm, Xiaomi, Nivea and Pernod Ricard for this campaign.  .

The campaign is scheduled to run from September 28th to October 4th of this year. It will provide consumers access to top quality products directly from the manufacturers, thereby reducing the cost of the products, which will enable consumers to save more money.

“The Brands Festival is an opportunity for brands with Official Stores on Jumia Mall to reach more customers, and for consumers to purchase at great prices directly from brands. Quality & value are more important than ever for our customers.” said Jumia CEO Sam Chappatte

E-commerce platforms like Jumia have made life easier for people during this Covid-19 period with more people opting for online deliveries for their essentials.

Mr Chappatte’s sentiments were echoed by Charles Kimari, Head of Integrated Mobile, Samsung Electronics East Africa who noted that “The Brands Festival is a great milestone in Jumia’s transformation into a brand-focused platform, guaranteeing top service and quality. We at Samsung are excited to work together with Jumia teams across Africa.”
