Infinix HOT S3 with 20MP selfie camera now in Kenya for Ksh. 18,999.


Infinix Mobile has finally unveiled the much awaited Infinix HOT S3. The device was launched today and will be sold exclusively through all Safaricom Retail Shops and Select Safaricom dealer outlets for  Ksh. 18,999.

Just as we had mentioned in our previous article, the Infinix HOT S3 was launched early this year and was the company’s first smartphone to come with a Snapdragon processor.

The Infinix HOT S3 is the third device is the company’s ‘’S’’ series which is always selfie centered. It comes with a 20MP SONY sensor, good for capturing clear selfies, especially in low-light conditions.

The Infinix HOT S3 also features a 5.7’’ inch screen with 18:9 ratio aspect ratio, a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, Face Unlock, 4000mAh battery, and is powered by AndroidTM Oreo.

Infinix says the Infinix HOT S3 comes with a superior selfie camera with the following features: f/2.0 big aperture; a bigger aperture for clear selfies, 4 in 1 big pixel; 4 in 1 technology enlarges the pixel size for better light sensation in low-light conditions and Dual flash and soft light; With dual flashlight in the front, it can help with light compensation in low light conditions, Infinix S3 has a dual flashlight with 3 levels of brightness

Speaking ahead of the launch, Infinix Brand Manager Mr. Zhang said,  “300 million photos on Instagram have been tagged with the selfie label. The powerful selfie camera on this device guarantees you a perfect selfie, no matter how poor the light condition is. This smartphone is meant for the young and tech-savvy people, who want to share their lives and style with the world. They will get the most of everything to share their stories.”

The Infinix HOT S3 is available in Topaz Blue, Sandstone Black and Blush Gold and the company says its key target markets are the emerging markets in Africa, Middle East, South America and Asia regions.
