Infinix HOT 10 Launched in Kenya Starting at KES. 13,999

...A massive battery, plenty of storage and memory configurations

Infinix teased on the upcoming Infinix HOT 10 smartphone just the other day, but the phone has now been launched officially.

The HOT 10 series comes in two variants.  A standard HOT 10 and a smaller, cheap version dubbed HOT 10 Lite.

As you may have guessed, Infinix HOT 10 is the real deal in the series. It has a MediaTek Helio G70 processor, 5,200mAh battery, up to 6GB of memory, and either 64 or 128GB of internal storage. With a 6.78-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a hole punch, it offers plenty of room for gaming and watching videos. That hole punch houses an 8-megapixel front camera.

Speaking of cameras, the back of the phone has four of them. Headlining the camera module is a 16-megapixel primary camera lens. The other two lenses are both 2-megapixels, one for depth sensing and macro shots while the last one is an AI Lens.

Infinix promises massive performance improvements on the device. According to the company, the HOT 10 offers a 123% and 64% performance upgrade on single CPU and Multi CPU frequency, respectively, compared to HOT 9.

Infinix HOT 10 will be selling in Obsidian Black, Ocean Wave, Amber Red, and Moonlight Jade colors starting at KES 13,999(3GB/64GB). You will, however, have a couple of memory configurations to choose from, including 3GB/64GB, 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB, and 6GB/128GB.

The HOT 10 Lite variant, on the other hand, features a relatively smaller 6.6-inch display panel. Other specs are also scaled down a bit to fit its KES. 10,499 MSRP.

The processor here is an entry-level Helio A20, announced in July, paired with 2GB or 3GB of memory. At the back is a 13-megapixel triple camera setup. On the front, the single 8-megapixel camera takes care of the selfie needs. A 5,000mAh battery powers the Infinix HOT 10 Lite but with no support for fast charging technology.
