Samsung Galaxy Note 9 512GB model is now in Kenya

Samsung has announced the availability of the Galaxy Note 9 512GB model in Kenya.  Samsung, however, says only a limited number of units of the Galaxy Note 9 8GB RAM + 512GB ROM device will be available for purchase.

Charles Kimari, Head of Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics said that limited storage was one of the pain points identified by consumers, hence the option of a 512GB variant. Additionally, with expandable storage of up to 512GB via the Micro SD slot, customers of the Galaxy Note 9 512GB variant can get up to 1TB of storage in totality.

“People want to be able to express their style and personality with the joy and peace of mind knowing there is enough room for favourite photos, videos and apps,” he said.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 512GB mobile features a 6.4″ (16.26 cm) display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and runs on Android v8.1 (Oreo) operating system. It is powered by Octa core (2.7 GHz, Quad core, M3 Mongoose + 1.7 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A55) processor paired with 8 GB of RAM. As far as the battery is concerned it has 4000 mAh, the largest ever on a flagship Galaxy phone for long-lasting power to use all-day to talk, text, play games and watch movies.

The device is available from Samsung Experience Stores and authorised dealers countrywide at a recommended retail price of Ksh134,999 and will initially be available in black.
