The Nokia 2.3 is now selling on Masoko at a discounted price of Ksh.10,999.
HMD Global launched the phone in the country back in December last year for Ksh.12,300 and with this discounted rate running throughout the month of June you will get to save some Ksh.1,301.
The Nokia 2.3 is probably one of my favorite budget-oriented smartphone from HMD Global to be launched in the Kenyan market. Despite being an entry level device, it boasts a stunning 6.2-inch HD+ IPS display with a 720 x 1520-pixel resolution at 271ppi and a 19:9 aspect ratio.
Other features include 2GB with 32GB of internal storage. There’s also a microSD card slot so you can still expand the storage up to 400GB.
For the processor, the Nokia 2.3 is powered by Mediatek’s Quad-core MT6761 Helio A22 chipset which has been seen on several devices at this price point. This processor, coupled with 2GB RAM is probably what you’d expect of this kind of device, so you won’t really have any issues with basic and day-to-day tasks.
The camera is a dual setup composed of a 13MP primary sensor working in tow with a 2MP lens for depth sensing. For selfies, Nokia 2.3 has a 5MP f./2.4 lens placed in a waterdrop notch. Apart from these features, there are also some common ones like Bluetooth & WIFI support, a micro-USB port, LTE support, and a non-removable battery with 4,000mAh in capacity which does a pretty good job. The Nokia 2.3 can also accommodate two nano-SIM cards as well as an additional microSD.
The Nokia 2.3 is also among the Nokia devices running Android 10. Meaning you get to enjoy all features on Android 10 including gesture navigation, smart reply and improved privacy controls. Users will also be able to enjoy features like Family Link that’s available in the Digital Wellbeing settings and lets parents limit the usage of the device and Focus Mode, which blocks distracting apps.
It comes in three colors, Cyan Green, Sand, and Charcoal. Check the Nokia 2.3 offer on Masoko here.
