ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED foldable laptop officially announced

The ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED first made a public appearance at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in January 2022. The company has now confirmed the arrival of this groundbreaking product into the market and promises incredible features and performance.

As the name suggests, this is a foldable laptop with an OLED screen, which is just one of the many unique features it comes with. The Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is particularly made powerful by its internal components, built for effortless performance.

This laptop uses a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1250U processor, Intel Iris Xe graphics, 16 GB RAM and a 1 TB PCIe SSD. The long-lasting 75-watt-hour battery features USB-C Easy Charge, so it can be charged quickly with most USB-C chargers or power banks, or any Power Delivery-certified charger, including the bundled 65W fast-charge adapter.

“Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is a response to users’ desires to achieve the ideal balance between mobility and productivity in their modern 24/7 lifestyles,” Asus said in a statement.

The device is made to switch between what the company calls the Laptop Mode, Tablet Mode, Reader Mode And Extended Mode. Each of these represents the various ways users can handle the laptop for their convenience.

The Laptop mode, for instance, refers to the use of the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED like any other ordinary laptop. The Tablet mode allows users to exploit the full touch capabilities of the fully opened 17.3-inch touchscreen. You can also use the laptop in portrait orientation if you switch to the Extended mode.

Asus further says “Zenbook 17 Fold OLED includes several smart AI-powered features, including user-presence detection using an HD IR camera; an integrated colour sensor for automatic adjustment of screen brightness and colour temperature; and a 5 MP AI webcam with ASUS 3D Noise Reduction (3DNR) technology for clearer video calls.”

The Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is perfectly a futuristic device meant to last. Asus says that the laptop has been tested and built to meet military reliability and durability.
