VIDEO: Farm Capital’s story and achievements so far


Farm Capital Africa (FCA), a Kenyan Startup has been nominated for the 2015 annual Innovation Prize for Africa Awards.

The company is a Social Impact Agri-investment company, formed to channel Capital to profitable and sustainable Agriventures in Africa. They partner with small scale Farmers with great growth Potential, and through its investor networks enable the famers to access the funds they need to scale up their Agriventures. This is all done through a Profit and Loss sharing arrangement between the Agripreneur, FCA and the Investor.

During the last interview with TechTrendsKE‘s Nixon Kanali, Alex Mwaura Muriu, Founder Farm Capital Africa told us how the nomination goes to show that Farm Capital’s business model has been recognized as a potential solution to the financing problem in small scale agriculture in Africa.
